Northern Kentucky Communications was established in 1971 as a service and maintenance organization and quickly grew full-circle providing equipment sales and system integration to the Business, Industry, Healthcare, Educational and Entertainment markets. As sales efforts stretched our boundaries for providing custom integrated systems throughout the Midwest and as far-reaching as Guatemala, Northern Kentucky Communications was shortened to NOR-COM to eliminate the regional ties. NOR-COM was incorporated in 1984, with Dan Van Meter being 100% shareholder of record. To this day, Dan Van Meter still remains majority shareholder.

NOR-COM, Inc. is an engineering systems integration company, which targets the educational, health care, security, business, industry and entertainment markets. We provide and specialize in integrated systems, which encompass conference facilities, technology centers, Audio & Video Conference, Distance Learning, Tele-Medicine, security systems, video media management systems and Large Venue Performance facilities. Our forte' has always been cutting edge technology, permitting NOR-COM to provide full backup and support to our clients. We take pride in providing work of the highest quality, paying great attention to detail and endeavoring to meet the clients needs, with systems that are neat, clean and simple to operate. Our Managers and Lead Technicians supervise all site-work for on-going projects. They were involved in our first integrated system in 1976 and in fact have been with NOR-COM since 1974.
